I can't wait to see how the plant experiment comes out! And I look forward to more video entries in the future ^_^ My own thing lately has been wandering the streets of cities via google maps; there is a setting wherin you put a little person on the street and you can 'walk' along the photographs of the street. I don't know if you've tried but it is amazing and for some reason I've been overwhelmed by feelings of love for Kyoto, Japan--ever since I found out it used to be the capital. (in fact it was until 1868)
Logical? perhaps not. but bizarre and wonderful all the same, so it has been quite something to wander the streets of a city I've never been to but adore absolutely all the same.

I know what you mean! A few months ago I got on there and started wandering the back roads of Ireland. It's SO BEAUTIFUL. And YES... Kyoto is amazing. I'm on it in another window and there's this street with a meridian in the middle, except instead of having plants or a rock garden there like most meridians here have, it's a shallow pool of blue water with what looks like pipes for waterfalls, though it's not turned on.

Google Maps is amazing. It's like the kind of stuff that in 1996 I'd have expected to exist in 2098. And there's so much unexpected stuff... I just dropped my little guy on Fukuoka (that's where we lived when I was two) and on my left is this HUGE greenhouse. The colors are weirdly familiar, too. I remember Japan being this very dusty green, and it's exactly the color of the crops in the fields.

This is fun. Thanks. :D
