This is what the rice jars looked like a couple weeks ago:

They're not changing very quickly anymore--they seem to have just settled in like this. This project is almost two months old... it'll be fun to see how long the rice stays like this.

Kjerstin. Seriously, this is the coolest thing I have ever seen. Like, ever. I just showed it to my friend (and I'll probably be showing it to a lot more people) and we are both in awe. It's amazing to have such a tangible proof of the effects of our emotions. Just think of the person you're holding a grudge against or your friend you're praying for and how great of an impact it really can have on them--and on yourself!
